About LaunchWorks

You can build more than ever.
You don’t have to build alone.

We partner with AI product creators to build the business around the software.

AI has changed who can build software. A capable developer, designer, or subject matter expert can turn an idea into a working product with fewer resources than before. That is an extraordinary shift—but a working product is only the beginning of a working company.

Why we exist

The bottleneck has moved.

For decades, creating the product required substantial development capacity, infrastructure, design resources, and capital. AI is compressing that process for individual creators and small teams.

Once the product exists, a new set of questions begins: Who needs this? Will customers pay? What should we charge? How do we find the first customers? How should the company operate and grow?

AI can make building the product easier. LaunchWorks helps build the company around it.

The company-building gap

Creators can build the starting point.

ProductCompany

Customers. Revenue. Distribution. Operations.

Commercialization infrastructure

From working product
to working business.

We work with developers, designers, technical founders, domain experts, and small teams who have created—or are creating—promising AI software. You bring the product, technical insight, or domain expertise. We bring the company-building work around it.

Prove the opportunity

Find the customer, test the problem, and establish the value.

Market validation

Identify the strongest customer, use case, market, competitors, and commercial opportunity before investing heavily in the wrong direction.

Product-market fit

Move beyond interest and determine whether a specific customer has a sufficiently valuable problem to buy the product.

Alpha, beta & production testing

Put the product in front of real users, learn how it performs in real workflows, and use their feedback before attempting to scale.

Bring it to market

Shape the offer and build a practical path to paying customers.

Business model

Develop pricing, packaging, monetization, unit economics, and the broader economic model behind the venture.

Positioning & brand

Turn technical capabilities into a simple, compelling market position customers can understand.

Go-to-market

Determine how the company will reach its first customers and turn early traction into repeatable acquisition.

Sales

Build the messaging, collateral, pipeline, partnerships, process, and sales infrastructure needed to generate revenue.

Marketing & distribution

Develop the channels that allow a good product to reach the people who need it.

Build for growth

Strengthen the company and prepare it for the next stage.

Scalable infrastructure

Prepare the product and its underlying infrastructure for increasing usage and a growing customer base.

Company formation

Build the strategy, operating model, financial planning, partnerships, and organizational foundation around the product.

Capital strategy

Determine whether outside capital is necessary, when it makes sense, and what milestones should come first.

A different kind of venture studio

Partners, not service providers.

We structure venture partnerships around equity because building a company is different from completing a project. The work may involve changing markets, testing pricing, improving the product, finding customers, building distribution, and solving operational problems.

Our question is simple: Is this something worth building a company around? When the opportunity earns it, we put our capabilities, network, experience, and resources behind it.

We build together. Our upside comes from the same place: building something valuable.

An ecosystem around the venture

The right resources
around the table.

Building a durable company requires more than one kind of support. LaunchWorks brings together a growing network of partners and specialized resources based on what each venture needs at each stage.

That ecosystem includes development partners who can help strengthen and scale the product, sales and go-to-market partners who can help reach customers and build revenue, and experienced resources across positioning, marketing, operations, finance, and company strategy.

Legal and intellectual property support is another part of that network. Through our relationships with Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s Intellectual Property Law Clinic and Elmore Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, ventures may have access to resources around IP strategy, patents and trademarks, company formation, founder and ownership matters, and commercial agreements.

Our goal is to put the right capabilities around a venture early, while the company is being built. Access to individual partners and resources depends on the venture’s needs, fit, availability, and each provider’s requirements.
